We were pleased to join the World Bank at a regional workshop focused on advancing the financing of sustainable natural resource management across the Eastern Partnership, bringing together policymakers, experts and partners.

The workshop explored ecosystem service values, national targets and financing needs, with a particular focus on forests and ecosystems.

Participants engaged with findings from country studies in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, highlighting national priorities, financing gaps and investment opportunities. Discussions also examined financing instruments to help mobilize resources and showcased international experience relevant to the region.

Our thanks go to all participants for contributing to this important dialogue on mobilizing both public and private finance to support resilient ecosystems and sustainable development. Together, we can help unlock investment for healthier ecosystems and a more sustainable future.

Representing Unique land use were Signe Nelgen, Jacinto C., Bernd Wippel and Christian Held.
