Projektverifizierung von Wiederaufforstungsprojekten
Hintergrund
In 2011, the five Uganda Nile Basin Reforestation projects were due for verification through an operational entity designated by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). UNIQUE was involved in the project preparation for the National Forest Authority (NFA). Therefore, the NFA invited UNIQUE to conduct a pre-verification to internally assess the quality of the implementation progress. UNIQUE identified potential activities which had to be conducted in order to assure that the projects operate according to the Project Design Document (PDD). This was a basis for the successful verification in 2011.
