Implementation of Quality Checks for GIZ Evaluation Reports
Background
Since April 2014, GIZ conducts extensive project evaluations (PEV) of all projects commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development that have a minimum duration of three years and a minimum volume of 1 million Euro. In order to ensure the methodological quality, GIZ’s Evaluation Unit implements quality checks of all PEV conducted. UNIQUE was assigned to realize quality checks of project evaluation reports according to the quality standards and processing steps given by the Evaluation Unit.
Our contribution
- Commenting of PEV reports and management enclosures.
- Advising project directors.
- Quality assurance and final approval of revised summary reports.
