Management Optimization in Community Forests
Background
A municipality in the German federal state of Hesse contracted UNIQUE to assess its forest concerning the “optimization of the municipal forest’s management“. Moreover, the municipality requires the elaboration of an external analysis and the identification of opportunities to add value to the forestry sector’s surpluses. Essential results have been an improved game management, the elaboration of concrete management objectives and a confirmation of the approval of the existing forest management strategy.
