Traben-Trarbach Burial Forest
Background
The city of Traben-Trarbach is planning to extend its cemetery offer with a new memorial forest. From 2019, urns are proposed to be buried next to trees in the old oak forest, which is situated high above the river Moselle. In the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich, this is the first cemetery offer of this kind. This form of cemetery offers ease of care, high popularity amongst the community, and promising monetary value for the municipality. UNIQUE is commissioned with the planning and implementation of the memorial forest. This also in-cludes the coordination of the official approval procedure.
