Forestry and Timber Industries Sector Study
Background
The analysis and interpretation of key economic data for forestry and timber processing cluster is an important basis for strengthening the competitiveness of the cluster industries. Such as analysis can also provide insights to relevant economic questions, such as the cluster’s contribution to employment in rural areas. The Ministry for Infrastructure and Agriculture of the federal state of Brandenburg commissioned UNIQUE to analyze key economic data for the forestry and timber processing cluster in order to create the basis for further cluster development. UNIQUE collaborated with Forst-Holz-Markt Consulting Dr. Lückge in the described tasks.
Our contribution
- Determination of turnover, number of companies and employees for the industries of the cluster.
- Additional data collection regarding industries not included in official statistics.
