The forestry software DSW2 (Datenspeicher Wald, Version 2) is the main planning and monitoring software used by the forest administration in the federal state of Brandenburg. The extensive tools available through this software support forest enterprises in systematically analyzing important forestry data (e.g. tree species distribution, volume harvested on tree species level) and forest management information (e.g. comparison between planned and actual harvested wood). Results and information provided by the software need to be integrated into a restructured forest administration. UNIQUE was contracted to train and coach executives in analyzing and preparing the data for a successful implementation and communication within the forest enterprise.
